HRPC is always looking for new shooters to join our matches. If you have not participated in an HRPC match
before, please note the following -
1. Rifle matches are limited to 22LR ammo. Standard Velocity 22LR is recommended. No Hypervelocity, Stingers
or 22 Magnums allowed or necessary. No centerfire or other rimfire rifle calibers allowed.
2. Pistol matches generally allow the following ammo, depending on the match - .22LR .45ACP .38Spl 9mm
.40S&W or 10mm.
3. No Magnum loads of any kind allowed
4. In most matches, you will load no more than 5 rounds of ammo at a time.
If you are considering membership in HRPC but do not have a sponsor, shooting the public matches is an
excellent way to meet club members and have a chance to check out the club yourself. Before you begin a
match, make sure you understand the safety rules. If in doubt, ask the match director.
If you have not shot in a match before, we recommend starting with the Fun Rifle or Fun Pistol matches.
For all pistol and Fun Rifle matches, registration takes place at the office window. This is located directly behind
the firing line inside the enclosed pistol area. Do not go into the clubhouse to register. For rifle and silhouette
matches, registration is done at the rifle firing line. Entrance to matches is at the discretion of the match director.
Always check the club calendar. If a match is cancelled for some reason, the calendar will be updated, but this
page will not be changed.

NRA 2700 Bullseye Pistol Match
Date - 1st Sunday of every Month
Match starts - 9 am
Registration begins - 8 am
Match Fee - $15
Equipment required - follow the equipment rules for NRA Bullseye Pistol
Note - NRA membership is required to shoot this match. This match consists of one-handed shooting at 25 and 50
yards. First match is .22 Pistol, Second match is "any centerfire pistol", Third match is .45 ACP Pistol. You can
shoot one, two or all three matches.

NRA Conventional Prone 1600 Rifle Match
Date - 2nd Saturday of every Month
Match starts - 9am
Registration begins - 8:30 am
Classification: The NRA classification system will be used. Three minimum to make a class. Less than 3 in a
class will be combined with the next higher class.
Rules: Current NRA Smallbore Rifle Rule Book shall govern these matches. Any rifle (rule 3.2) applies. Any
sights (rule 3.7c).
Registration & Fees: Pre-registration by SR-1 is requested but not required. The match fee is $15.00 . Make
checks payable to Hollywood Rifle & Pistol Club, Inc. Entries limited to one relay of 23 competitors. Registration
will close at 8:15 A.M. on the day of the match.
Course of Fire:
Match #1 Dewar Course
Match #2 40 shots, 100 yards
Match #3 40 shots, 50 meters
Match #4 40 shots, 50 yards
Match #5 Aggregate of matches 1 through 4
Awards: 50% of the entry fees will be returned in the individual matches. Awards divided according to number
entered in each match. Winner award will be taken from total entry per match. Additional class award will be
given if over 7 in a class.
Miscellaneous: Firing points are covered and concrete. Match may be fired in mildly inclement weather. Match
Director may delay match in severe weather. Camping on the club grounds the night before is permitted. Match
Director must be notified by the Thursday prior to the match.

Match Fee - Match fees: $5 Registration, plus $3 per match (only $11 for two 40-round matches, $14 for three)
Equipment required - depends on the category being shot. We shoot smallbore silhouette matches out to 100
yards with both pistol and rifle classes. Pistol shooters may sign up for IHMSA or NRA pistol categories. Rifle
shooters may sign up for NRA rifle categories. To shoot an NRA match, you must have or purchase an NRA
classfication book. Please come early and help set up the target stands. Freestyle and/or Standing Categories.
Iron Sights & Scopes Allowed. 40-Round Matches Per Entry. 22 LR Handgun or Rifle. Almost any .22 handgun
with 5-inch, or longer, barrel may be used. Shoot for IHMSA or NRA classification, or you are welcome to
participate for fun as an unaffiliated, unclassified shooter.
